OUR VALUES
At the heart of our boxing club is a simple promise: we're here for every LGBTQ+ person who walks through our doors. No matter who you are, where you're from, or whether you've ever thrown a punch before, this is your space.
We're fighters in and out of the ring. We fight for diversity. We fight for equality. We fight for each other's right to grow and thrive whether you're here for fitness, friendship, or to compete. We stand firm that trans women are women, trans men are men, and non-binary identities are valid - and we actively fight for their inclusion in a sport that often excludes them.
Boxing has historically excluded marginalised communities - that's why Knockout LGBTQ+ Boxing Club, an organisation rooted in community support, is built on challenging oppression in all its forms. As boxers, we understand conflict but reject needless violence. This drives our efforts to support queer migrants including refugees fleeing violence in Palestine, Ukraine, Sudan, and beyond.
We condemn the genocide in Palestine and ongoing humanitarian crises globally; we uphold the right of all people to live free from oppression.
Boxing teaches us that strength comes with responsibility. We believe everyone deserves safety, dignity, and self-determination. We're in the corner for peace, dialogue, and compassion - in our community and across the world.
