Monday Magic
6:45pm – 8pm

Our Soho session is open to everyone, whether you’re putting on the gloves for the first time or sharpening your skills. This class blends boxing technique with fitness and conditioning for a complete workout.
You’ll work through:

Technique and footwork drills
Partner combinations

FLINTA Fighters
6:45pm – 8pm on the last Monday of the month

This class welcomes anyone who identifies as Female, Lesbian, Intersex, Non-binary, Trans, Asexual (FLINTA).
Our FLINTA session is open to all skill levels whether you’re putting on the gloves for the first time or sharpening your skills.
This class blends boxing technique with fitness and conditioning for a complete workout, usually led by professional boxer Oriance Lungu.
You’ll work through:

Technique and footwork drills
Partner combinations
Please note that while we strive to make sure this class is coached by FLINTA people, we cannot always guarantee this due to coaches’ availability.
Tuesday Toughener
7pm – 8:15pm

This session is designed to build explosive power, strength, and endurance specific to boxing performance. Expect a tough circuit and technical strength focus to complement your technical training.
You’ll train through:
Dynamic warm-up
Strength and conditioning circuit
Core and mobility work
Please note: All skill levels are welcome at this class but due to the focus on strength and conditioning, this class is aimed at those exercising at least twice a week.
This venue has no shower facilities.
Wednesday Wrecker
7:15pm – 8:30pm
Sobell Leisure Centre, Hornsey Road, N7 7NY
On Wednesdays, you have two options to choose from in our mixed-level class focussed on experienced boxers and sparring.

A high-level session for more experienced boxers looking to hone their skills and learn more advanced techniques.
You’ll work on:
Technical drills and combinations
Developing your own style
Sharpening your defensive skills
Conditioning through pad and bag work
Please note: this session is not suitable for complete beginners. You’ll need to know your basic punches, stance, and boxing fundamentals before joining. If you’re new to boxing, start with a Monday class or the Thursday Trials to build your foundation first.

A session that is only for boxers who have been carded and medically cleared.
You’ll work on:
Developing ring IQ
Technical partner drills and combinations
Tactical sparring and ring movement
Controlled rounds with coach supervision

Thursday Thrasher
7:15pm – 8:30pm

On Thursdays, you have three options to choose from in our mixed-level class focused on fitness, form, and fundamentals. This is our biggest class of the week and the one that usually sees people socialise at a nearby venue afterwards so come and make new friends.

New to boxing? This is where your journey begins.
Our beginners’ class is designed to give you the confidence, knowledge, and foundation you need to make the most of training at Knockout.
You’ll learn the essentials of boxing in a relaxed and supportive environment:
Stance and guard
Movement
The six basic punches
Introduction to strength and conditioning
No pressure, no judgement, just good vibes and great coaching.
After this session, you’ll be ready (and excited!) to join our regular classes and start building your skills. Everyone starts somewhere and this is the perfect place to start strong.
Please note: this is your starting point if you’re brand new to boxing. You’ll need to complete this class before joining the rest of the timetable – it’s how we make sure everyone feels confident, safe, and ready to train together.

This session takes place in the Boxing Gym and is aimed at anyone who has picked up the basics but is coming to class to get sweaty and take out the issues of the week on a punching bag.
You’ll work on:

Intensive bag work
Conditioning circuit

Saturday Sweat
10am – 11am
Sobell Leisure Centre, Hornsey Road, N7 7NY
This session challenges more experienced boxers to push their limits. You’ll focus on high-intensity combinations, advanced technical drills, and tactical conditioning. This is another social class, with most people heading off to a nearby café afterwards – a punch and brunch!
You’ll train with:
Intense bag work and pad drills
Technical and defensive combinations
Strength and conditioning finishers

Sunday Youth Training (Ages 13-18)
4.15pm – 5.30pm
Sobell Leisure Centre, Hornsey Road, N7 7NY
A free all abilities boxing class for LGBTQ+ young persons (ages 13-18). Every Sunday, come and join us indoors for an hour of fitness, strength, and skills training. We will meet in the boxing gym on the 1st floor of the Sobell Leisure Centre. Young persons and their responsible adult must fill this one-off consent form before attending the class.
